polish public holidays

there are too many bank holidays in Poland and there is something special about them all - that silence in the streets, laziness, barbecue rituals, mass attending, drinking lots of alcohol outdoors...

me, as a dilligent and anxious, though not very experienced photographer, who finds pleasure in investigating all those people's and society's behaviours, cannot omit such a festival.

the notice says : "Playing ball not allowed". In my country lawns aren't for people, they're for dogs to shit around. first thing we are taught when brought up to live in the society - DO NOT STEP ON THE GRASS!

I like the mystery and depth of black and white photography, espacially taking black nad white photos on a sunny day when they really call to be colourful and shiny. but not this time - factory chimney can't be captured in colour.

things people throw away after three day holiday.
